The University of Maine at Fort Kent is a great place to live and learn! As a student, your focus should be on learning, but be mindful that not all learning takes place in the classroom.. Its important to remember that college is about meeting new people, experiencing new things, and having a little fun. Our faculty and staff are here to provide support and help you be successful learners and engaged as active members of the UMFK community.

Join a student club or run for a leadership position on the UMFK Student Senate;
Participate in student activities and community events;
Better yourself emotionally, spiritually, and physically;
Take a break from exercising your mind and work out your body at the Sports Center or as you take part in varsity or intramural athletics;
Seek guidance and counseling about issues that face college students;
Figure out how to live with your roommate in the residence halls.
